Artisan
Group
When Artisan Group was challenged with a multi-utility
diversion project on The Moor, Sheffield, they turned
to SCD for help. As an approved contractor for
all the main utility providers, SCD developed and delivered
a single solution for water, gas, electric and telecommunications
services. |

Interserve
and CE Services
SCD Group Limited was contracted to provide essential
enabling works for the new wind turbine farm near Driffield
North Yorkshire. These involved a 12.7Km duct
installation employing traditional open cut and directional
drilling techniques. |

Est
In line with the recent Health and Safety Executive directive,
SCD was engaged in the extensive replacement of more than
2.5Km of gas mains throughout Leeds.
Our fully accredited main laying teams were complemented
on site by a full time project manager and support personnel. |

of Sheffield
Sheffield University, like others, has to compete to attract
local and foreign students by offering the highest class
of education backed by the best facilities.
A key part of its aggressive strategy is the construction
of a fully serviced Student Village on the grounds of
old halls of residence.
SCD was contracted to supply and install gas, waterand
power mains plus communications and datanetworking services
to the site and surrounding buildings. |

Bradwell Nuclear Power Station
Bradwell stands on a 30 hectare site, one and a half miles from the Essex coastline. Its Magnox
reactor was one of the first generation nuclear power stations built in the UK.
From first producing electricity in 1962. Bradwell stopped producing and began its decommission
2002.
SCD's installation of High Voltage cabling was essential to the decommissioning programme. |
